I grew up in Mendoza, Argentina. I attended the Champagnat University and obtained BA in Computer Science in 2004. After finishing my studies I moved to Barcelona where I received a Master degree in Science of Language and Applied Linguistics. In 2005 I joined the TALN Research Group at Universitat Pompeu Fabra. In 2011, I spent a pre-doctoral internship at the Human Language Technology Group of Fundazione Bruno Kessler in Trento, Italy. In 2012 I received a PhD under the supervision of Leo Wanner. In 2013 I joined the Machine Learning Research Group, at NICTA and the Research School of Computer Science in the Australian National University. In 2016 I joined the Commonwealth Science and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO, Australia) as a research scientist. In 2023, I joined the School of Cybernetics at the Australian National University as a researcher and lecturer.
